Al van der Beek gets so involved with writing music and producing for other up and coming acts that he sometimes forgets that he himself is a recording artist. Over the past few years Al has managed to accumulate a very strong collection of works including tastefull ballads and upbeat - almost clubish - tracks not dissimilar to something you would expect from a Sugar Ray. With focus on words and meaning Al's songs tend to connect with everyone that hears them.

In a perfect world we would like to see Al carve out 3 months or so a year to take his show on the road. If not for himself, then for the people who are sure to appreciate his music.
